In Settings > Call Handling, you can set up a Greeting (if you don’t want to allow customers to record a Voicemail) or a Voicemail Greeting with instructions on how customers should reach you. If you elect to send a follow-up text, you may also indicate in the audio message that a text is on the way.
To enable an auto-text in response to a phone call, go to Settings > Auto Responses > Auto-Respond to Phone Calls. The caller will receive a text with the message of your choice immediately after they hang up the phone. The content of this text can be different from the content of an auto-response to incoming text messages.
Note that in some jurisdictions, you may need opt-in consent before you send an unsolicited text message, even if someone has called you. For more information, please see our Terms & Conditions.
